Health and Safety

We, as a group identified possible health and safety risks which we may encounter when filming. Considering we have identified them we hope that we can now prevent them from happening or will be able to make rearrangements so that it does not conflict with our schedule.

Potential risks and hazards
Locations
Who or what is at risk?
How are we going to make sure it doesn't happen?
Who's responsibility?
Accidents and injuries during filming e.g. slipping or tripping during a running scene or falling off the ladder whilst filming
Outdoors e.g. garden, the park or roads and pathways

Our group and the actors
Being careful
Everyone
Damage to the equipment e.g. tracking shots on a moving object
Anywhere where it is being filmed e.g. outdoors or in the house

Damaged college equipment
Not being careless with the equipment. If using a moving object for a tracking shot, we have to make sure the camera is secure.
Our group
Equipment being stolen or lost
In and around college facilities or outdoors

The college losing equipment
Someone being assigned to the equipment at all times and taking care of it correctly
The person/people who are taking care of the equipment
Weather conditions e.g. rain, wind, cold temperature.
Outdoors

Our group, actors and the equipment
